Last week Emily finally lost her first baby tooth. She’s seven (going on eight in January) and we were wondering when it was going to happen. Abby had lost four or five at this point. She lost one of her lower front teeth and one on the top is already loose. So, maybe she’s just going to loose all her teeth at once. She was really excited since she had been watching Abby get money from the Tooth Fairy for years now. She put the tooth under her pillow and received $5 from the Tooth Fairy the next morning. She was so proud that she carried the money around the house all afternoon. Later, I found it discarded on the floor. I guess it had finally lost its “coolness”. (No, it didn’t go into my pocket. I put it in a safe place for her to spend later.)
